We’re Mike (from Ohio) and Kristy (from Louisiana), a husband-and-wife team, both registered nurses with over 20 years of healthcare experience. We met while working as travel nurses in St Thomas USVI. We continued to travel throughout the U.S. working in California, Hawaii, Texas, Florida, and Ohio. Our travels allowed us to work with and care for so many people of different ethnicities, cultures, and socioeconomic backgrounds. We believe everyone's journey is unique and personalized programs are crucial to true wellness.

As parents of two, our journey started in 2019 when our son was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes—no genetic history, antibody-negative—forcing us to rethink health beyond the sick care model. We moved our family to Florida to increase year round outdoor activities in his lifestyle. We also felt it was crucial for him to have access to Vit D (the sun)! Our passion for alternative therapies for autoimmune disease began.

The next phase of our journey happened when Mike’s father was involved in a car accident in 2023, he sustained no major musculoskeletal injuries but did develop a balance disorder. His neurologist prescribed Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy sessions for balance issues. Under medical supervision he completed 20 sessions; not only were his balance issues nearly resolved, our family noticed a significant improvement in his memory, which had been declining in the last few years. Unfortunately due to cost and travel time to a hyperbaric center he refused anymore treatments after the initial 20 treatments. We knew the only way to get him the treatment he needed was to bring the treatment to him and thus Neo Wellness and Hyperbaric was born. (Plus that family discount never hurts. 😉)
